This week the weather turned on us. It went from lovely and warm to cold and snowy overnight. The stir crazy creeped in with the cold...So we had a painting dance party. I have visions of the "spare" room being a little craft sanctuary, and while I love our floors I don't mind them getting a little painty (and thank goodness for our steam mop that got up most of the paint)
Our setup was simple, a giant piece of canvas on the floor, some splotches of red and yellow and blue (have I mentioned that these are the only colors we have in the house?) on a tray and a couple of brushes...
Turn on the music, roll up the pants and have at it! Eventually I added some more paint directly onto the canvas because the tray got really slippery. And slippery combined with 2 toddler boys seems to equal slapstick antics of sliding and falling all over....

thanks! it helps that in my head the floor we did it on will eventually get ripped up anyway! it is def. an activity that you just have to say "ok there will be a mess to clean up" after. We ook a bath right after we finished and the boys still have slightly red legs....
