Not a Foodie

I am not a foodie. Well I don't think of myself as a foodie. I just like good food, and have these really intense sense memories that involve food. Friends used to say that they knew when I was into a guy by the amount of food I would make for him. These food as love/lust included pies, cookies, cakes, breads, muffins and once, a three course meal featuring handmade raviolis. And yet I was technically manless all through the college years....
And now I cook for the menfolk that I truly love; my hubby and the kiddos. Here are some of the things we've been eating....Farm eggs and crusty bread
Marinated Chicken with Asparagus, Pea Greens and Rice
Ramps, Goat Cheese and Roast Beef

Homemade Pizza with Ricotta stuffed crust (I want to make ricotta so bad!)

T-Bone Steak with Ramps, Sorrel Mushroom Rice and Asparagus

For breakfast the kids and I eat yogurt and granola, oatmeal, scrambled eggs with tons of greens and lunch is usually leftovers or sandwiches made up of cheese and greens, and I could do a whole other post on the amount of baking we are doing!

Delicious dishes here and you're obviously a good cook. I also knew I wanted to marry my husband when I couldn't stop cooking for him ;o) BTW our 3yr old son loves his sister's doll house too...

Saw your comment over at Food In Jars and would love your granola recipe with applesauce. Maybe post and share it sometime.

Love your blog :)
