Works in Progress

It is Wednesday again. Some weeks I have to look at the calendar to see the day and date, other weeks we are on top of things and have some schedule. This was a look at the calendar week....

I still have yet to purchase a new camera and the weather is still so gross.
Gardening has gone by the wayside a little bit, but we did fill in one third of our 9X20 plot with soil and compost to get it ready. This is where the potatoes, onions, garlic, lettuce, spinach and radishes are going to go. The middle third is getting amended when I can get some vermiculite to break down some of the clay and when we can get to the dump for more compost. Then the whole thing will get covered to warm up for corn, beans, zukes and cukes. The last third will get some pig poop, some soil, some compost to plant the tomatoes and basil.... I am going to also put in some asparagus with no real hopes that it will grow as well as rhubarb, since these are both perennials I am still thinking about the best place in the plot for them, most likely they will go in the middle section on the outside...

And the strawberries and raspberries and blackberries still sit in their pots waiting to have a place to go. I think the berries might just all go in along the back fence, maybe the deer will just eat them and not jump over into the yard to eat anything else? Hmmm sacrificial berries....

And we are still waiting on our stuff from Arbor day!

Knitting wise I am still in Easter knitting mode. Remember those bunny egg cozys? They are mostly done! I have been lazy in the sewing and still have 2 to finish.

The baby converse are done and going in the mail tomorrow- this is without the takes forever and is godawful, but makes it look so cute and finished i-cord done on size 0 needles...
I am half done with a baby yoda sweater for a new cousin. I like the baby yoda, it is pretty easy, but I do dread the seaming. Why, Why, Why do people create patterns that you have to sew together? Why can't everything be done in the round?!

The dress that has to be finished in july? yeah still not started. Next week I promise.......

Love the bunny cozies, the Converse booties rock, and I love the idea of the Yoda sweater (although having made some baby sweaters lately that required seaming, I'm with you on generally dreading that task).
